Color Block + #HowIFall Link-up

Color Blocking for the Office

Today's look is a tad bit more conservative than what you've seen on the blog but I love a good fitting dress with a dash of flare. These neutral color blocking tones are a great way to transition into spring and keep up with the latest color blocking trends without taking too much risk.

This dress can work for interviews, corporate meetings, or even casual work days with a cute pair of d'orsay flats. I'll be back on the job interview train as I near graduation so conservative well fitting dresses are on my radar. This one was a steal at the Zara in New York, but I promise you it was a hassle just to find it in the pile of sale clothing.

This weekend after shooting I had sushi and drinks and of course did a little shopping. LOFT had some new arrivals that I wanted to try on, plus everything was 40% off so I couldn't resist the temptation. I got this cute romper that I can be dressed up and down this spring/summer and an essential pair of flats. Overall great additions to my wardrobe. I don't know if I mentioned this in another post but this year I'm trying to be more minimalistic and focused on buying basics that can go with items I already own.  Don't forget to link up your fall post, can't wait for #HowISpring coming in 2 weeks!

Have a great week! xo
