Nothing feels more like spring than a nice breeze and a flowing kimono. The floral print doesn't hurt either. My weekend looks usually consist of basic pieces and maybe one statement item.
It's fun finding new ways to spice up a plane t-shirt and jeans. This particular look came out better than I expected. Don't you love when that happens? The kimono still matches the color scheme but adds so character to the look. For those of you looking for fun kimonos this spring/summer, Forever21 has a large selection.
This week was another tiring one filled with presentations. Most people think I don't get nervous during public speeches/ presentations but I do, FOR SURE! I just channel that nervous energy as motivation. To be honest, I can't remember a time that I felt relaxed while speaking publicly but when it's done I get this rush that makes it all worth it. But best believe before each speech I'm usually having a mini freakout questioning why I chose a career that's all about speaking in public haha. I don't know how people don't see it on my face! My secret weapon is asking the audience a question. It helps relax me and break the scary barrier between me and the people I'm speaking to.
Have a great weekend! xo
