Photo Diary: Wynwood Culinary Tour

Wynwood Culinary Tour

Wynwood Culinary Tour is the perfect think to do in Miami for both tourists and local Miamians. I personally love it for local because sometimes we don't get the chance to try some of the best cuisine in an area, especially people like me who live in Broward (that's like another state for Miami people).

Since it is Wynwood it wouldn't be right if they didn't mix art and food together. We received  a brief history on Wynwood, the art on the walls that surrounded us and mixed it in with some AMAZING bites. For those of you who don't know, Wynwood is a trending area in Miami that showcases some of the world's most famous artist on their walls (the artist for President Obama's 'Hope' campaign has a wall in Wynwood) and every year the art changes for Art Basel. They have monthly art walks and lost of amazing restaurants.

I am definitely coming back to some of these restaurants now that I've tasted from their menu. My tour sidekick was Rachelle and she loves eating just as much as me. When choosing who to go with, be sure their a foodie just like you!

I must check out the Ft. Lauderdale Food Tour next! Check out some picsI snapped during the tour!

Happy Thursday! xo

Mmmm Wynwood, yes that the actual name was our first stop on the tour and is the perfect brunching location! These french sandwiches were light and tasty.

R House mixed both modern art and great food. This pulled pork sandwich and tuna tartar with avocado was to die for!

Mofongo from Jimmy'z Kitchen - a Puerto Rican dish where you mash the plantains into the meat.

Wine wall at Made in Italy Gourmet. Everything they offer is imported straight from Italy from pastas, meats, cheeses and of course wine.

My favorite dish, seviche - fish cooked in lemon served at SuViche in Wynwood. Beware the fried kernels on the right are addicting!

The BEST key lime pie in town was our last stop at Fireman Derek's World Famous Pies

My look was simple and casual. A printed shift dress  (to hide my belly after all those meals) and flats (since we walked 5 blocks to each stop).
