July 4th weekend Rachelle and I embarked on a mini road trip to Tampa in the Mazda CX-9 SUV! This spacious car was such a smooth ride that we were fighting over who would drive first. It seats 7 but we put the back row down to have more space for our luggage (you know us fashion bloggers can never pack light haha).
Our main attraction for our trip was Busch Gardens because we obviously are kids at heart. I was excited to go back since they have the best roller coaster in Florida! Although some people (*cough cough* Rachelle) were scared, we enjoyed 2 great coasters. For some reason, there were basically NO LONG LINES for the rides we went on. It was heaven. I may or may not have enjoyed the rides a little too much. We quickly realized that were NOT kids anymore as we couldn't even make it back out of the hotel for fireworks that night. We just got takeout and wine and had a girls night in for the rest of the night. I can't wait to take another road trip soon!
You may have seen a play-by-play of our #ZoomZoomRoadTrip on Snapchat (@chachhaaa) since I'm addicted. but if not here's a photo diary recap and my snapchat story video at the end of the post!
"Turn down for what" perfectly describes my personality. No Red Bull needed.
Up early ready to hit the park, but first a selfie!
If I could date an animal, it'd be this fine fella.
Bet you didn't know I was a lion whisperer.
Paparazzi caught us! We are really just kids in adult bodies, ya'll.
Best view in Busch Gardens! That roller coaster in the distance is the Sheikra with a 90 degree drop. Even I wasn't crazy enough to ride it. Haha
Beautiful Moroccan scenes from the park!
Showing off my fun henna tattoos before I hit the road back to Miami! Going home is always sad.
And if you missed my snap story or just not a snapchat user yet. Enjoy this fun compilation of our day at Busch Gardens!
*The Drive Shop provided us with the Mazda CX-9 for our road trip; however, they did not sponsor the actual trip. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
